India Will TRAVEL to Pakistan for Champions Trophy 2025? BCCI to Have ‘Better Understanding’ After T20 WC 2024

New York: The Indian cricket team is currently in the New York for the T20 World Cup 2024 where they take on arch-rivals Pakistan on Sunday (June 9). While there is a massive build-up for the game, there are speculations over will the Indian team travel to Pakistan next year for the Champions Trophy. Finally, there is a reaction there on this which claims that a decision would be taken soon. In all probability, the decision would happen in the next two months.
“We will have some idea in the next two months,” a Cricbuzz source confirmed.
As per reports, the ODI Champions Trophy 2025 is set to be held from February 19th and March 9th next year. This is not official as yet.
While the Champions Trophy looks to be exciting, it would be interesting to see India’s stance on it. In case, BCCI does not agree to travel, we could see the tournament being played in a ‘hybrid model’.
Meanwhile, all the focus is around the upcoming T20 World Cup match between India and Pakistan at the Nassau County International cricket stadium in New York. The Rohit Sharma-led side start hot favourites against Pakistan.
