India’s Complete Schedule At Paris Paralympics 2024 On August 31: List Of Events, Timings In IST & More

New Delhi: After clinching four medals on Day 2 of the Paris Paralympics 2024, India will look to capitalize on the foundation on Saturday (August 31). While the second day will consist several group matches in para-badminton, eyeballs will be on shooting, with hopes for grabbing more medals. Swaroop Mahavir Unhalkar (Men’s 10m Air Rifle Standing SH1) and Rubina Francis (Women’s 10m Air Pistol SH1) will compete in the qualification rounds on Saturday. Following in the footsteps of Avani Lekhara, Mona Agarwal, and Manish Narwal, both Swaroop and Rubina will aim to bring home more shooting medals for India, with the finals set to take place later in the day.
Other Indian medal hopes on Saturday include Parveen Kumar, who will see action in the Men’s Javelin Throw – F57 Final. Armless archer Sheetal Devi, a strong contender for the medal after finishing second in the ranking round, will be up against Chile’s Mariana Zuniga in the Women’s Individual Compound Open 1/8 Elimination. Both athletes look promising to bring in good performances for the country in the Paralympics.
