iOS 18 May Bring Design Changes Inspired By Apple Vision Pro’s visionOS
IOS 18, the next-generation software update, is expected to be a game changer for iPhone owners. Many people are speculating about introducing a range of new features, including AI-powered ones.
In the most recent report, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman indicated that iOS 18 will include certain design improvements. Not only that, but he stated that macOS design modifications may take a year or two.
According to the Power On newsletter, Gurman stated that Apple is working on a design upgrade that might be released as early as this year. The company could announce iOS 18 at the annual developer conference WWDC in June.
According to the latest leaks, the company could introduce some changes to Siri, Shortcuts, Messages, Apple Music and Pages. This comes after Apple CEO Tim Cook, during the company’s earnings call, hinted that Apple is planning to introduce generative AI features later this year.
The generative AI features are also expected to be exclusive to the iPhone 16 models, which are expected to feature a Neural Engine with significantly more cores. It may also bring RCS support for the messages application.
Gurman also stated that macOS said that initial development on the design changes could debut in 2025 or 2026. For those unaware, the Macs received a major redesign back in 2020. However, the company has not announced
