IPL 2024: Kuldeep Sen Strikes Twice in One Over, Dismisses GT’s Wade and Manohar for Rajasthan Royals
Rajasthan Royals fast bowler Kuldeep Sen delivered a brilliant bowling performance during his team’s game against Gujarat Titans at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Wednesday. The pacer got his first wicket by dismissing opener Sai Sudherson as he was caught by the southpaw in front of the wicket as the batter looked to play a shot behind the wicket after moving around the stumps, but was unsuccessful. However, eyeballs flew across the country soon after Sen’s dismissal of Australian Matthew Wade and Abhinav Manohar in the same over as he used his pace to settle both the batsmen.
GT won the toss and skipper Shubman Gill chose to field first. The hosts got off to a good start as Yashaswi Jaiswal hit back-to-back boundaries en route to his 19-ball 24. The southpaw fell victim to Umesh Yadav as he was caught by Wade. GT’s lead spinner Rashid Khan dismissed English player Jos Buttler who was caught by Rahul Tewatia.

However, RR captain Sanju Samson and Ryan Parag fought back the slump by putting on a brilliant 130-run stand for the third wicket. Parag, who has been in great form this season, played another memorable innings as he added 76 runs before being sent back to the hut by Mohit Sharma. Samson, making his 50th appearance as RR skipper, remained unbeaten on his landmark cap with a 38-ball-68 innings. Shimron Hetmyer ended the innings with two boundaries on his willow to take RR to 196/3 in 20 overs with his captain.
