Pant got his fifty off 34 balls by taking a full-toss from Mohit at long-on. for six, and was met with a grand ovation from the crowd. GTA brought in left-arm spinner R Sai Kishor in the 19th over to counter right-armer Tristan Stubbs. But the batsman drove twice in the gap between extra-cover and long-off, then clubbed the spinner for two huge sixes over long-on in the 22-run over.
