Is Tata Curvv the New King of Compact SUVs? See How It Stacks Against Nexon
The Tata Curvv is the latest offering from the Indian automaker, poised to redefine the compact SUV segment. Unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024, the Curvv, in its internal combustion engine (ICE) version, proposes a fresh aesthetic that distinguishes it from its sub-4m SUV sibling, the Nexon.
Distinguishing Dimensions
The Tata Curvv and Nexon may share some design lineage, but when it comes to dimensions, the Curvv clearly takes the lead. Stretching over 4.3 meters in length, it surpasses the Nexon by a notable 313 mm, positioning it in direct competition with larger compact SUVs.
This size advantage extends to the wheelbase, offering potentially more legroom in the rear than the Nexon. Despite its larger size, the Curvv manages to maintain a sleek profile, only marginally wider and taller than the Nexon, promising a spacious yet compact design.
Styling And Design Distinctions
One of the Curvv’s standout features is its coupe-like roofline that elegantly flows into a high-standing rear, setting it apart from the traditional design of the Nexon. The inclusion of flush-fitting door handles not only enhances the vehicle’s sleek appearance but could also be a pioneering feature in its segment.
