Jamia Millia Islamia launches new BTech, MTech courses, requires JEE score
Jamia Millia Islamia has launched several new self-financed programmes in BTech and MTech. Admissions to BTech programmes will be based on JEE Main rankings.
The new courses include BTech in Electrical & Computer Engineering, BTech in Electronics (VLSI Design and Technology), BTech in Computer Science & Engineering (Data Sciences), and MTech in Data Sciences.
These programmes have an annual fee of Rs 1,50,000 for BTech and Rs 54,000 for MTech. Application forms are available on the official website, jmicoe.in.
Online admission forms for courses with JEE tests will be available 10 days after the results are declared.
MAIN OBJECTIVE
The BTech in Electrical and Computer Engineering aims to produce engineers who can enhance the security and strength of computing systems, especially in communications networks, and improve cyber-physical systems like smart grids and autonomous mobile systems. Similarly, BTech in Electronics (VLSI Design and Technology) will train students in designing and manufacturing nanoelectronics devices and chips in India. The curriculum will meet industry standards and match those of renowned institutes in India and abroad.
