Jammu and Kashmir Board Class 12 students get Class 11 paper, exam postponed

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBoSE) has been compelled to postpone the Class 12 annual examination after students across the Union Territory (UT) received question papers meant for Class 11, sparking concerns and confusion among candidates.

A packaging error led to the distribution of Class 11 Physical Education question papers to Class 12 students, prompting the BOSE to take immediate action. The mistake has raised questions about the integrity of the examination process, leaving officials scrambling to rectify the error.

The board has initiated an investigation to ascertain the circumstances that led to the distribution mishap. Officials are keen to identify the lapses in the system that allowed such an error to occur, ensuring that corrective measures are promptly implemented to prevent similar incidents in the future.

With the Physical Education paper cancelled, uncertainty looms over the scheduling of the Class 12 exams. Students await updates on the new examination dates as authorities work to reschedule the disrupted assessments and maintain the integrity of the academic evaluation process.
