1. Offer Letter
The offer letter is one of the first documents you should receive. It shows that the company has formally offered you a position and is important as the initial official document from the employer.
2. Appointment Letter
The appointment letter is issued after you accept the offer and confirm your intention to join the company. It provides details about your job role, terms of employment, and other important information.
3. Company ID card
The ID card is typically issued to employees and serves as proof of your position within the company. If your company doesn’t provide an ID card upon joining, be sure to request one.
4. Pay slip
Your pay slip is an important document that provides a detailed breakdown of your monthly earnings and deductions. After each salary payment, request your pay slip from the HR or accounting department.
5. PF and other benefits information
If eligible, your Provident Fund (PF) account should be set up by the company. Get your PF number and monitor your account to ensure contributions are being made correctly.
