Kalki 2898 AD Sequel’s Shoot to Begin in 2025? Producers Swapna and Priyanka Dutt Spill The Beans

Prabhas’ mythological drama Kalki 2898 AD has turned out to be a massive hit, breaking records and entering the Rs. 1000 crore club. Since its release, fans have been eager to know when the second part will be coming. To further excite fans, producers Swapna Dutt and Priyanka Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies have revealed when the sequel will go into production. According to a report by News 18, the shooting of the film will begin in 2025.

Priyanka shared, “Filming will start in the next five or six months (January or February 2025). Once it starts, we’ll be able to talk more about it.” Swapna added, “This time around, there’s a lot more excitement than nervousness. I think there will be a lot more planning now. Whatever we did for part one, we were all just following Nag Ashwin’s vision.”
She concluded by saying, “It often happens that you don’t fully understand most of the things until you actually see the visuals. Now that we’ve seen everything that Nagi has done and understood the way the audience has received it, we’re going into part two with an altogether different energy.”

Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film features Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Prabhas, and Kamal Haasan in key roles, with other actors including Disha Patani, Brahmanandam, Shobana, Anil George, and Saswata Chatterjee also part of the cast.
