Karan Kundrra Says ‘Gayab Hojao’ on Maintaining Social Media Relevance – Exclusive

You don’t need to worry about social media if you don’t like using it. Not nearly as important as what most people claim. It’s not a guarantee that having a strong social media presence helps many famous actors achieve their careers. But in the digital age, is it truly feasible? India.com got in touch with Karan Kundrra from the sets of the Colors TV show ‘Laughter Chef Unlimited Entertainment’ to discuss the same. The ‘Mubarakan‘ actor spoke about the relevance of maintaining social media to get your way in the industry.
Karan said, “It depends, depends. It’s actually both ways. When you have an off-period, maintaining a slight relevance on social media is important but when, I believe, it’s my thought, if there’s a project coming, for example, you have three months before your project, I would believe you would want to give everything to that project. I don’t think you should be so available on social media. So, that’s part of the plan – Agar release ho rahi hai toh gayab hojao so that their attention goes to the project.”
With over ten years of experience, Karan Kundra has been in the entertainment business. He has won the audience around to his way of thinking with his performances in reality TV shows like Roadies, Love School and Bigg Boss. He, who enjoys a massive fan base on Instagram and Twitter, also highlighted that one should maintain some relevance on these social media platforms. “Yeah, but there’s some relevance you can get, you should maintain, ” he concluded.
