Katrina Kaif finds Vicky Kaushal ‘most unromantic gift-giver’
Bollywood actor Katrina Kaif, who married actor Vicky Kaushal in 2021, felt he was ‘grumpy’ during the first couple of years of their marriage.
She even tagged him as the most ‘unromantic gift giver’.
During his latest appearance on Neha Dhupia’s chat show, ‘No Filter Neha’, Vicky answered what are his most annoying traits according to his actor-wife Katrina. He said, “Stubbornness.” When Neha asked if it meant he never apologised to his wife, Vicky clarified, “I am the first one to say sorry, but perspective-wise, I stick to my point unless convinced otherwise. I don’t give up on it.”
The ‘Uri’ star further shared, “First two years (of marriage), she used to call me khadoos (grumpy). She felt my resting face is khadoos. She used to be like, ‘Why are you not smiling?’ I told her, ‘I am happy.’ But she said, ‘But, you have this khadoos face’. Just this, baaki ladka heera hun main (Besides this, I am gem of a person).”
However, Vicky also admitted that apart from his stubborn attitude, his unromantic behaviour also annoys Katrina. He said, “I am zero at planning vacations. So, she has to plan. There is this one deadly phrase that she uses, ‘You are the most unromantic gift giver.'” The actor also shared that his last gift to Katrina was ‘jewellery’.
Vicky and Katrina had a dreamy wedding ceremony in Rajasthan in December 2021. The couple invited only close friends and family members to the ceremony. Their wedding festivities continued for three days and Vicky said he left it to Katrina to make all the big decisions about the three-day festivities.
Vicky said, “I told Katrina one thing, whatever makes you happy, I will do that. You find peace only when your woman is happy. What it means to a girl, is just beyond everything and those were the three happiest, most beautiful days of my life.”
Vicky Kaushal is currently working on the period drama, Chhava. His other film, Bad Newz, co-starring Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk, will hit the cinema halls on July 19.
