Kia India Achieves Landmark of 400,000 Connected Car Sales
Kia India has achieved a major milestone by selling over 400,000 connected cars, marking a significant achievement in the field of tech-driven mobility experiences. These connected car variants now account for over 44 percent of Kia India’s total domestic sales, marking a great success story in the automotive industry. The growth of Kia India’s connected car variants has been impressive, boasting a 30.9 percent compound annual growth rate (CAGR), surpassing the global growth forecast of 18 percent by 2032.
Seltos leads Kia’s connected car sales, contributing 65 percent of total sales. Customers are increasingly opting for Seltos models equipped with connected car features, which account for 57 percent of all Seltos unit sales. Following closely behind, the Carens also reflects this trend, with 31 percent of its customers opting for connected car variants. Although telematics are currently available in only 7 variants of the Sonnet, they still contribute a significant 21 percent of total Sonnet sales.

Kia is at the forefront of integrating advanced connected car functionality into its vehicles, with features such as English commands, remote window control, remote engine and AC start, and valet mode gaining popularity among consumers.
