Kia Presents EV3 Compact SUV to the World: When Is It Coming to India?
South Korean car manufacturer Kia has expanded its product line in its home country, introducing the all-new compact SUV EV3. It has been reported that the company has priced the base model at KRW 42.08 million (roughly Rs. 25.59 lakh), while the top model can be bought for KRW 46.66 million (roughly Rs. 28.37 lakh). Talking about the launch plan in India, the model is expected to arrive somewhere around August next year. However, the company has not yet shared any details regarding the same.
All about the Kia EV3
All the design, spec and feature-related details of the foreign model have been shared on the internet. The vehicle has been given a futuristic approach, with a Karen-inspired LED headlight setup paired with L-shaped DRLs.The rear has also been treated with LED elements, flaunting edgy cuts and creases, giving it a sleek appeal. The battery powered model rides on impressive alloy wheels. The vehicle is offered in a total of 7 color options, where customers can choose from 3 interior color themes.
The EV3 offers decent interior space, allowing four passengers to sit comfortably and enjoy long journeys.
Interior and features
Inside, the EV3 offers a wide range of premium features. The list includes a double D-cut multi-functional steering wheel, ambient lighting, automatic climate control, dual 12.3-inch integrated displays and a 12-inch head-up display (HUD). When it comes to safety, it is equipped with ADAS features, 9 airbags, speed alerts, parking sensors, ABS with EBD and the list goes on.
Battery and range
When it comes to the powertrain, the base model uses a 58.3 kWh battery unit, while the top model is powered by an 81.4 kWh battery pack. Both the vehicles are capable of providing an impressive range of 350 km and 501 km respectively on a single charge.
