Congress has given a big responsibility to former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot regarding the Lok Sabha elections in Rajasthan. Now a campaign committee has been formed by the Congress for the Lok Sabha elections. Former CM Ashok Gehlot has been made its chairman. Former Assembly Speaker CP Joshi has the responsibility of co-chairman.
Pratap Singh Khachariyawas, a candidate from Jaipur city, has been given the responsibility of the convener of the committee for the Lok Sabha elections by the Congress. Whereas Ashok Chandna and Rafiq Khan have been made conveners. 28 veterans have been made members of this 32-member committee of Congress.
In this list, apart from Rajasthan Congress State President Govind Dotasara, Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie, former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot, Jitendra Singh, Harish Chaudhary and Mohan Prakash, many former ministers and MLAs have been given place. The existing two candidates CP Joshi and Pratap Singh have also been given important responsibilities. Voting for Lok Sabha elections will be held in the state on 19 and 26 April.
