Madhya Pradesh shocker: Man kills his nephew, injures his sister-in-law with axe for denying him tobacco
Shahdol: In a shocking incident in Madhya Pradesh’s Shahdol district, a man has been arrested by the police for allegedly hacking his five-year-old nephew to death with an axe and injuring his sister-in-law.
The incident took place in Barkachh village under the Beohari police station limits on Saturday night.
Man attacks sister-in-law, nephew with axe
The accused, identified as Ramla Kol (30), had reportedly asked his elder brother’s wife, Sukkhi Bai (35), for tobacco. However, she refused his request, saying that she did not have any tobacco at home, reported PTI.
According to Mohan Padwar, in-charge of Beohari police station, Kol got angry and forcibly entered his sister-in-law’s house around 11 pm while they were asleep. He attacked them with an axe, causing fatal injuries to the young boy and injuring the woman. Kol fled from the scene after committing the crime.
The injured woman is currently receiving medical treatment, while the young victim succumbed to the injuries. The accused has been charged under section 302 (murder) and other relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code. The police are investigating the matter further.

In another incident that took place on November 25 last year, a tailor named Shahid Hussain stabbed his wife with scissors after she refused to give him money to buy fried chicken. The incident took place in Prem Nagar Colony in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad.
According to the ACP, the couple had engaged in an argument when Noor Bano, the accused’s wife, purportedly refused to provide money to Shahid Hussain for purchasing fried chicken from the market. Although Bano eventually went out and bought the chicken a few minutes later, the dispute continued. During the argument, Hussain allegedly stabbed his wife in the neck with a pair of scissors.
