Mahindra Scorpio N Reaches 1 Lakh Unit Production Milestone – A Remarkable Achievement

This significant achievement comes just within a span of a mere two years.
Mahindra’s strategic concentration on the SUV segment has birthed the Scorpio N, a contemporary avatar of the esteemed Scorpio lineage that has been a stalwart on Indian roads for years.
While embracing the iconic silhouette of its predecessors, the Scorpio N has brought forth a fresh aesthetic and an arsenal of upgraded technical features, kindling an even stronger consumer interest.
Eager customers have been drawn to the innovative characteristics of the Scorpio N, propelling Mahindra to amp up production to meet the growing appetite. The landmark of crossing the 1 lakh production mark underscores the brisk pace at which it has captured the market since its launch at the tail end of June 2022.
Engineered to cater to diverse preferences, the Scorpio N prances through the Indian roads in five distinctive variants – Z2, Z4, Z6, Z8, and Z8L. It struts a palette of seven shades, offering ample choice to potential buyers looking to make a statement with their vehicle.
With its commanding presence, the Scorpio N ranges in ex-showroom prices from Rs 13.60 lakh to Rs 24.54 lakh. At the heart of its performance is a robust 2.2-litre diesel engine, punching out a commendable 173bhp and 400Nm of torque.
Customers can also opt for a 2.0-litre petrol engine with even more oomph, delivering 198bhp and a torque of 380 Nm. This king of the urban jungle touts gearbox choices of a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic, alongside the option of a 4Xplore 4X4 system for those who tread beyond the beaten paths.
However, Mahindra has nudged up the ex-showroom prices of the Scorpio N recently, with a surge of Rs 39,300 for its top-tier Z8L variant, while other versions experienced a modest increase of just Rs 600.
