Mark Zuckerberg Reviews Apple Vision Pro; Meta CEO Says ‘Quest 3 Better Than Apple’s New Tech’
Apple Vision Pro, the next-generation headset that has been one of the most popular issues among techies worldwide, has already sparked meaningful debates.
In the most recent update, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg contrasted the Meta Quest 3 to the Apple Vision Pro in his video, claiming that the Quest 3 is more appealing to a larger audience.
Taking to Instagram, Meta CEO wrote, “I have to say that before this, I expected that Quest would be the better value for most people since it’s really good and it’s like seven times less expensive. But after using it, I don’t just think that Quest is better value, I think Quest is a better product period.”
In the video, Mark Zuckerberg discusses how the Meta Quest 3 outperforms the Vision Pro, providing light on the specifics and demonstrating how his company’s offering is more significant and superior to Apple’s new technology. However, he did have some positive things to say about the Vision Pro, stating that it has a larger screen with higher resolution and that Apple’s eye-tracking technology is excellent.
“Now, look, I realise that some ardent supporters became angry if someone dared to doubt Apple’s leadership in a new industry, but the truth is that there are open and closed models in every computing generation. Indeed, Apple’s closed approach prevailed in the mobile space. That isn’t always the case. When it came to PCs, Microsoft’s open strategy was the best. Meta will be the open model in this generation, and I genuinely want to ensure that the open model prevails once more. We have not yet scripted the future,” he said.
However, people have mixed feelings about the newly launched Vision Pro headset. The company has already introduced the product in the US market this month and is expected to expand the retail shelves in the coming months.
