Pawan Kumar, a native of Raghunathpur village in Uttar Pradesh’s Bulandshahr district, cracked the prestigious UPSC exam with AIR 239 rank in 2023 examination.
Pawan’s father is a poor farmer and his home has an asbestos sheet roof with a mud floor. Pawan’s father Mukesh wanted him to get a job to help him in making ends meet but Pawan had a different dream and he finally turned it into reality.
He cleared the UPSC examination in his third attempt. Pawan’s sister says that he always gave time to studies at home. Pawan’s father Mukesh expressed his joy, saying that he has no interest except to give preference to his studies and it has paid off. Now, Pawan’s family is happy and people of his village throng his house to wish him for his great achievement.
Pawan Kumar also wants to work for his village. He has become an inspiration for others in his village and district.
