Miss World 2024: Czech Republic’s Krystyna Pyszkova Clinches Crown
Czech Republic’s Krystyna Pyszkova was crowned as winner of the coveted Miss World 2024 on Saturday. The event was held at Mumbai’s Jio World Convention Centre.
Pyszkova was crowed by the winner of the 2022 edition Karolina Bielawska from Poland.
Lebanon’s Yasmina Zaytoun secured the first runner-up position at the elite beauty competition.
It was the 71st edition of the Miss World competition that highlighted the grace, beauty, and abilities of women from across the world.
The winner of Miss World was selected after a neck-and-neck contest between the top 120 contenders in various categories including the Question and Answer round.
Miss World 2024 contest was judged by a 12-member panel that comprised Bollywood actors Kriti Sanon and Pooja Hegde, CEO of Miss World Organisation Julia Evelyn Morley CBE, Amruta Fadnavis, Sajid Nadiadwala, former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh, senior Journalist Rajat Sharma, Jamil Said, and Vineet Jain.
Former Miss World contestant Manushi Chhillar was also part of the 12-member judge panel.
