Mohammed Shami estranged wife Hasina Jahan breaks silence on star pacer’s meeting with daughter, ‘He didn’t…’
Team India pacer Mohammed Shami is currently sidelined from international cricket due to ankle injury. However, the Gujarat Titans pacer bowler made most of this time off to meet with his estranged daughter Aaira recently.
It was an emotional meeting between Shami and his daughter Aaira, who are seen shopping together at a mall in this adorable video.
“Time stood still when I saw her again after long time . Love you more than words can say, Bebo,” Shami posted on Instagram.

The post has already got over 16 lakh ‘likes’ on Instagram in a couple of days. Shami’s estranged wife Hasin Jahan made some serious allegations regarding the meeting.
Speaking to a Bengali new website, Hasin Jahan claimed that Shami ‘forced’ her to arrange a meeting with their daughter Aaira. She also claimed that all the shopping done by Shami for Aaira was for ‘free’.
“It’s just for the sake of showing off. My daughter’s passport has expired. Shami’s signature is required for the new passport. That is why she went to meet her father but Shami did not sign. He went to a shopping mall with his daughter. The company for which Shami advertises, he took her there. My daughter bought shoes and clothes from that shop. Shami does not have to pay if he buys anything from there. That’s why she was taken there. My daughter wanted a guitar and camera, he didn’t buy her those stuff,” Hasin Jahan told Ananda Bazaar news website.
“Shami never enquires about my daughter. Shami is only busy with himself. He met her just a month back, but did not post anything back then. I think there was nothing to post now, so he uploaded this video,” Hasin Jahan added.
Meanwhile, Shami had recently also slammed the rumours that his rehabilitation from ankle injury wasn’t going as per schedule at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru and that the Indian pacer might be forced to miss the India vs Australia 2024 series for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy later this year.
Shami expressed his frustration and clarified his stance regarding these speculations. “Why these type of baseless rumors? I’m working hard and trying my level best to recover. Neither the BCCI nor me have mentioned that I am out of the Border Gavaskar series. I request the public to stop paying attention to such news from unofficial sources. Please stop and don’t spread such fake fake fake & fake news, especially without my statement,” Shami wrote in a post on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter).
