More than 65 lakh students could not pass the 10th-12th examination of the year 2023, revealed in the report

More Than 65 Lakh Students Failed In Board Exams 2023: Last year i.e. in the year 2023, more than 65 lakh students could not pass the board examination of class 10th and 12th. The Ministry of Education has released a report in which it is clear that a large number of candidates did not succeed in the exam. It includes the results of students of many boards from State Board to School Board. It is clear in this report that the result of MP Board students was the worst.

Results of which boards were checked

The results of the boards of classes 10th and 12th included in this analysis are as follows. 59 school boards, 56 state boards, and 3 national boards. This report clearly states that more than 65 lakh children did not succeed in the board exams last year.

The report also reveals that more female students participated in the class 12th exam than those from government schools.

What does the report say

This report states that about 33.5 lakh class 10th students could not reach the next grade. While 5.5 lakh did not take the exam at all. 28 lakh students failed. This was the reason for the gross enrollment ratio at the higher secondary level.

Similarly, about 32.4 lakh students could not complete the class 12th exam. Talking further, 5.2 lakh did not take the exam and 27.2 lakh students failed.

More students on state boards failed

This report clearly states that more students of state boards have failed as compared to the national board. While the number of students who failed in the National Board was 6 percent, 16 percent of the students of the State Board have failed. This number is much higher than the students who failed in the National Board.

This was about class 10th. If we talk about class 12th, the failure percentage of National Board students in class 10th was 12 percent while the failure percentage of State Board candidates was 18 percent. In this way, more students of State Board have failed in both the classes.

What is the condition of which state

If we talk about the State Board, then in class 10th, most of the children failed from MP Board and Bihar Board was at second place, and UP Board at third place. Whereas if we talk about class 12th, most of the children failed in UP Board and then Madhya Pradesh Board was at the next place. If we talk about the total performance of the year 2023, then the performance of the students fell down as compared to the previous year i.e. year 2022.
