Motorola Edge 50 Pro With 144Hz Display India Launch Confirmed; Flipkart Microsite Goes Live
Motorola has confirmed the launch of the Edge 50 Pro in India. The brand took to its social media handle to confirm the arrival of the upcoming smartphone.
The official teaser images also confirm the design of the Motorola Edge 50 Pro. However, the brand did not disclose the exact launch date yet. According to the tipster Abhishek Yadav, the smartphone will be launched on April 3 in the country.
Motorola Edge 50 Pro: What to Expect?
A dedicated microsite has gone live on Flipkart, confirming the availability of the smartphone on the e-commerce site. The microsite reveals the Motorola Edge 50 Pro will come with a 50MP AI-Powered Pro-Grade camera.
The phone is also confirmed to feature a 6.7-inch 1.5K pOLED curved display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 2000nits peak brightness, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The Flipkart listing further reveals the device will be offered in three Pantone-curated colour options.
Additionally, the detailed features have been shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav. The phone is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and will ship with Android 14. The main 50MP camera will come with OIS support and is expected to be paired with a 13MP Ultrawide rear camera.
The Motorola Edge 50 Pro will pack a 4,500 mAh battery with 125W charging and 50W wireless charging. Alongside, Motorola is also gearing up to launch a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3-powered phone in the country, which is expected to be the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion.
The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion is said to be launched on April 3 at an event in New Delhi. So, there is a chance the brand could launch both handsets together.
