MP: Goat thieves in SUV ram into drums meant to stop them, kill two men
Two people were killed in Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh when thieves in a sports utility vehicle (SUV) rammed into drums that were meant to stop them.
The thieves were running away after stealing two goats.
The victim were identified as father and son. Two other people were wounded in the incident and were admitted to a hospital in Jabalpur. The incident took place in Sohjani village under Siroha police station.

According to reports, three youth reached the village to steal the goats. As they tried to flee, the villagers in nearby Lamkana put up empty kerosne drums on the road to stop them from fleeing.
But the thieves accelerated the speed of the SUV and hit the drums causing them to flung them in the air and hit the Dhaniram, Sonelal, Raj amd Akash. Dahilal and Sonelal suffered serious injuries on their head, legs and hand. Later they succumb to their injuries.
Raj and Akash are critically injured in the incident and are undergoing treatment. The thieves escaped after leaving the Scorpio.
Hearing the commotion, the local villagers reached the spot and rushed the injured to the Sihora hospital.
