NEET PG Result 2024 Declared: The National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the result of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024. Candidates who have appeared for this exam can check their results by visiting the official website of NBEMS natboard.edu.in. NBEMS said that there will be no re-evaluation, re-checking, or recalculation of the responses marked by the candidates. The qualifying cutoff percentile for the NEET PG exam 2024 is 50th for the General or EWS category, while for SC/ST/OBC (including PwD of SC/ST/OBC) it is 40th and for UR PwD it is 45th.
Students should download and print the NEET PG result and keep a copy for future reference. The validity of NEET PG 2024 results will be only for the current admission session – 2024-25 for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses and it cannot be carried forward for the next session of admission. The entrance exam was conducted on August 11 in two shifts.
NEET PG 2024: Tie-Breaking Criteria
In case of two or more candidates securing equal marks, the merit position will be determined using the following tiebreaker criteria in descending order:
1. The candidate giving a higher number of correct answers in the question paper will be placed in a better merit position.
2. The candidate giving a lower number of negative answers in the question paper will be placed in a better merit position.
3. The candidate with older age will be placed in a better merit position.
4. The candidate securing higher aggregate marks (in percentage) in all MBBS professional examinations will be placed in a better merit position. In the case of Indian nationals/OCIs who have obtained their primary medical qualification from outside India, their FMG examination marks (in percentage) will be considered instead of aggregate marks (in percentage) in all MBBS professional examinations.
