NEET UG Counselling 2024 Date Notice: The counseling process for NEET UG National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate was scheduled to begin on Saturday, July 6, but was not started. After this, the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) issued a notification stating that the NEET UG 2024 counseling schedule is yet to be announced. The notice said that the counseling schedule for NEET UG and NEET PG is announced by the MCC on its website based on the completion of the examination process and finalization of the seat matrix by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Counseling for NEET UG seats in 2021, 2022, and 2023 started on 19 January 2022, 11 October 2022, and 20 July 2023 respectively. For this year i.e. 2024, NMC has communicated its schedule for finalizing the seat matrix for NEET UG and NEET PG seats in the last week of June. In such a situation, the UG seat matrix will be finalized by the third week of July and the PG seat matrix by mid-August. Then the NEET UG counseling 2024 schedule will be released by MCC.
Counseling at the end of July
More than 13 lakh NEET-qualified children are waiting to start NEET UG counseling. According to sources, the process of issuing permission letters to some medical colleges is still going on and additional seats are likely to be added. Official sources said that the counseling date will be announced after this process is completed. So that admission to the seats of new colleges can be ensured in the first phase itself. Officials said that NEET UG 2024 counseling is likely to start at the end of this month.
