NMC has given recognition to Tinsukia Medical Colleges of Assam, admissions will be done on this many seats every year

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma said that Tinsukia Medical College has been officially recognized by the National Medical Commission. He further said that now there are a total of 13 institutions for medical studies in Assam.

National Medical Commission i.e. NMC has given recognition to Tinsukia Medical College of Assam, this information was given by the Chief Minister of the state Himanta Biswa Sharma on social media. He said that Tinsukia Medical College has been officially recognized by the National Medical Commission. Along with this, the Chief Minister also said that with the recognition of this college, the number of medical colleges in Assam has increased to 13.

Admissions will be done on this many seats every year.

The Chief Minister said that every year admissions will be done on 100 seats of graduation in Tinsukia Medical College. “Great news for the people of Assam. National Medical Commission has officially approved Tinsukia Medical College, allowing admission to 100 undergraduate seats every year. With this, the number of medical colleges in Assam has now increased to 13,” he posted on social media platform X.

The Assam CM expressed his gratitude to the state’s medical sector and also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for inaugurating the Tinsukia Medical College and Hospital. “This achievement is an important step towards enhancing healthcare, education, and services in our state,” the CM said.
