On Sridevi’s Birth Anniversary, Janhvi Kapoor Keeps Up With Legacy of Visiting Tirupati Temple, Shares Pic in Saree And Jewellery
Janhvi Kapoor never misses a chance to visit the Tirupati Balaji temple every year on her late mother Sridevi’s birth anniversary. The legacy was started by Sridevi, and after her death, it has now been taken up by her daughter Janhvi. Like every year, this year too, the Ulajh actress visited Tirupati and shared a bunch of soothing pictures.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday morning, Janhvi shared three pictures with the caption, “Happy birthday, Mumma. I love you.” The first picture features the stairs of the temple, the second is an adorable childhood memory of Janhvi with her mother, and the third picture shows Janhvi dressed in a yellow silk sari, a turquoise blouse with golden prints and a yellow border, completing her look with traditional South Indian jewellery.

Apart from Janhvi, Khushi Kapoor and Boney Kapoor also wished Sridevi. Khushi shared a throwback picture of herself and Sridevi on Instagram Stories. On the other hand, Boney Kapoor also shared a sweet tribute to his late wife. He posted a picture from her 2012 film English Vinglish and captioned it, “Happy birthday, jaan .”
Sridevi was a renowned Indian actress with a career spanning over five decades. Celebrated for her versatility, she enthralled audiences with her performances in films across multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam.
Her iconic roles in movies like Chandni, Mr. India, and English Vinglish highlighted her extraordinary talent and range. She passed away in 2018 due to a drowning accident. Today would have been her 61st birth anniversary.
Coming to Janhvi Kapoor, the actress was last seen in Ulajh. Currently, she is gearing up for her next release which is Devara. Kapoor will share the screen space with Prabhas. The movie will hit the big screens on September 27, 2024.
