In India, many beneficial and welfare-oriented schemes are implemented for almost every section of society. These schemes, funded significantly by the government every year, include initiatives like the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, which benefits millions of farmers by providing a financial instalment of Rs 2,000 every four months. As the eagerly awaited 16th instalment is about to be released, it is important to know that certain mistakes can lead to delay or rejection of your instalment. Let us know what these errors are in the next slides.
Common mistakes that can hold up your instalment:
1. Delay in land verification:
If you do not get the land verification done on time, you may be deprived of the benefit of the instalment. Although completing this process is mandatory under the scheme rules, many farmers neglect it, which can lead to possible exclusion. Make sure you follow this requirement.

2. Mandatory e-KYC:
It is necessary to complete the e-KYC (Electronic Know Your Customer) process for enrollment in Pradhan Mantri Kisan Yojana. This step is necessary to prevent fraud and identify ineligible beneficiaries. Failure to undergo e-KYC may result in delay or rejection of your instalment. Be sure to fulfil this requirement quickly.
3. Linking Aadhaar with Bank Account:
Another important aspect is linking your Aadhaar card with your bank account. If this linkage is not established, you may be excluded from receiving the instalment. Visit your bank branch to ensure Aadhaar linkage for seamless transfer of benefits.

4. Accuracy in the application form:
Errors in the application form, such as misspelt name in Hindi, wrong gender entry, wrong Aadhaar number, or wrong information about the bank account, can stop your instalment. Correct any such mistakes immediately to avoid any disruption.
