Popular Liv.52 herbal supplement and 31 other medicines banned in UP districts
The most popular herbal supplements for liver ailments, Himalaya’s Liv52 found defected. As per the reports, 10 ayurvedic and 22 allopathic medicines found fake in 10 districts of Uttar Pradesh.
The medicinal compound in these drugs were found not to be in permissible limits, as per the officials.
After discovering the adulterated drugs, the authority banned the sale of these medicines. These adulterated drugs were found in districts, including Sitapur, Ghaziabad, Saharanpur, Muzzaffarnagar, Meerut, Lucknow, Varanasi, Lakhimpur Kheri, Gautam Buddha Nagar and Kanpur. The adulterated batches are not to be sold in market, ordered the authority.
Herbal medicines banned
Jwala Dadh, Rumo Pravahi, Sundari Kalp Syrup, Trayodshang Guggulu, Vedantak Vati, AciNutra Liquid, Amla Churna, Supersonic Capsule, Bosta 400 Tablet and Bayana Plus Capsule have been found to be adulterated.
Regional Ayurvedic and Unani Officer Dr Saroj Shankar Ram said that an order has come to ban 32 medicines.Of these, 10 medicines were found to be adulterated.These were not produced in the district.In such a situation, sale and transportation will not be allowed.
