Rajasthan weather update: Due to a western disturbance, an alert of storm and rain was issued in the state

A new disturbance will start from today, although its greater impact can be seen on 13 and 14 April. People have now got relief from the heat due to the drop in temperature due to rain.
The effect of change in weather has also been seen in Kota, Udaipur, Jodhpur Ajmer and Bikaner divisions. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in 16 districts of six divisions including Jaipur.

A yellow alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department in 22 districts of Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in Ajmer, Alwar, Baran, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dausa, Dholpur, Kota, Pratapgarh, Sawai Madhopur, Sikar, Tonk, Bikaner, Churu, Hanumangarh, Sriganganagar including the capital Jaipur. An alert has been issued.
There is a possibility of thunderstorms and hailstorms.
The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of strong thunderstorms along with thunder in some parts of Jaipur, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Bharatpur, Kota, and Udaipur divisions on 13 and 14 April. During this period, thunderstorms and hailstorms may also occur. People will continue to get respite from the heat.
