Hyderabad: India has lost one of its most influential figures in Indian cinemas. The death of Ramoji Rao took the internet by storm when he was declared dead at age 87. The veteran producer, founded popular media platforms Eenadu and Ramoji Film City, drew his last breath in Hyderabad in the early hours of Saturday. MM Keeravani, Rajamouli Arrive To Pay Last Respects At Ramoji Rao Film City
The Telugu film industry along with other cinema industries mourned at Ramoji Rao’s death. Reports by ANI referred that Rao, who had been battling an illness, peacefully passed away while under medical supervision at a nearby hospital. He took his last breath at precisely 3:45 am. In another video shared by the media agencies, it shows filmmaker SS Rajamouli and music director MM Keeravani were emotional while paying tribute to Eenadu & Ramoji Film City founder Ramoji Rao at the Film City.
Rajamouli arrived at the film city to pay the last respects along with his wife. The Baahubali director is seen in deep pain after the loss of Ramoji Rao. Apart from Keeravani and Rajamouli. Prominent Telugu actor Jr NTR also arrived at the film city to pay the last respects to Late Ramoji.

Upon the sad departure of Rao, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended a heartfelt condolence to Rao’s loved ones, his allies, and his countless admirers.
Pm Modi through his emotional tweet expressed his grief and wrote, “The passing away of Shri Ramoji Rao Garu is extremely saddening. He was a visionary who revolutionized Indian media. His rich contributions have left an indelible mark on journalism and the world of films. Through his noteworthy efforts, he set new standards for innovation and excellence in the media and entertainment world (sic).”
“Ramoji Rao Garu was extremely passionate about India’s development. I am fortunate to have got several opportunities to interact with him and benefit from his wisdom. Condolences to his family, friends and countless admirers during this difficult time. Om Shanti (sic),” Modi further added.

Tamil actor, Rajinikanth on Saturday expressed his condolences and wrote, “I am deeply saddened on hearing the demise of my mentor and well wisher Shri Ramoji Rao Garu.
