Recipe of the Day: Make delicious rice dhokla at home, this is an easy method

Required Ingredients: 

  • Four hundred grams of rice flour
  • one cup of curd
  • half a cup of semolina
  • half a teaspoon of mustard
  • four whole red chillies
  • eight spoons of oil
  • sugar (as per taste)
  • a pinch of asafoetida powder
  • water as required
  • two spoons of lemon juice
  • salt as per taste.

This is a very easy method of preparation:

First of all, prepare a smooth paste by mixing rice flour, semolina, curd, sugar and two teaspoons of oil in a vessel.

Now add a sufficient amount of water to it. Now add lemon juice and asafoetida in it and leave it overnight.

Now boil water in a steamer, put this paste on plates and steam it for half an hour. Now take it out.

Now cool it, cut it and put it on a plate.

Now you have to heat oil in a pan and crackle mustard in it.

Now add four tablespoons of water and heat it.

Now add dhokla to it and add red chilli as per taste.

After this add grated coconut and green coriander for garnish.
