There is a great news for the candidates who wish to work in Railways. South Eastern Railway has invited applications for recruitment to the posts of Apprentice. How many posts are to be recruited?

Under this recruitment campaign, 1785 posts will be filled in the organization.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Candidates who wish to apply for the posts must have passed Matriculation (Matriculate or 10th class in 10+2 examination system) from a recognized board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (excluding additional subjects) and ITI pass certificate (in the trade in which apprenticeship is to be done) awarded by NCVT/SCVT.

Age Limit: Candidates must have completed 15 years of age and must not be more than 24 years as on 1st January, 2025. The age recorded in the Matriculation Certificate or Birth Certificate will be considered for this purpose.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on the merit list (trade-wise) prepared in respect of all the candidates applying against the notification in the relevant trade. The merit list in each trade will be prepared on the basis of percentage of marks obtained in matriculation, with a minimum of 50% (aggregate) marks. For the purpose of calculating the percentage of matriculation, the marks obtained by the candidates in all subjects will be counted and not the marks of any subject or group of subjects.

Application Fee
