The Indian Navy swiftly sprung into action after a merchant vessel was struck by a missile/drone in the Gulf of Aden. The attack comes amid a crisis in the Red Sea that is witnessing a surge in Yemen-backed Houthi onslaught.
INS Kolkata deployed in the region for maritime security rescued 23 sailors, including 13 Indians, after a Liberian-flagged container ship MSCSkyII caught fire after it was attacked by a drone or missile, a statement by the Indian Navy said.
