Registration started for the PG course at Delhi University, 13,500 seats will be filled

Delhi University (DU) has started the registration process for admission to postgraduate courses through CUET. Candidates who wish to apply for the university’s DU PG Admission 2024 can do so through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal, admission.uod.ac.in. You can apply through. Please note that candidates will be able to apply for DU PG till 25th May.

13,500 seats will be filled

A total of 13,500 PG seats will be filled through this admission process at Delhi University. Of these, 120 seats are vacant for three B.Tech programs and 60-60 seats are vacant for courses like BA LLB and BBA LLB. Additionally, postgraduate admissions will include courses like MA in Hindu Studies, MA in Public Health, MA in Chinese Studies, MA in Korean Studies, and Masters in Fine Arts.

Admission through CUET Score

Half of the seats available in various PG courses in colleges affiliated with Delhi University will be allotted through the CUET PG entrance exam. After the test, candidates will have to appear for a group discussion and personal interview to prove their proficiency and understanding of their chosen course. The remaining 50% of seats will be filled based on merit and previous examination performance of the candidates. This option is available exclusively to students of Delhi University colleges.

DU PG 2024 Application Fee

For admission in these courses, candidates will have to pay registration fees. For General/OBC/EWS category it is Rs 250, for SC/ST and PwBD it is Rs 100, while for sports quota it is also Rs 100.

DU PG seat allotment

Once the seat allotment list is released, candidates must immediately deposit their fees to confirm their allotment before the given deadline. Failure to do so will result in the candidate being dropped from the next stage of admission. Additionally, the university arranges spot admission and mop-up rounds to fill any remaining seats. The time table for the admission process will be announced soon on the CSAS portal.
