New York: Rohit Sharma fans know his habit of frequently forgetting things. Today was another instance when fans got to see that on LIVE TV. At the toss ahead of the much-awaited India-Pakistan T20 WC 2024 game, Rohit forgot that the coin was in his pocket. While the match referee and Ravi Shastri wondered where is the coin, Rohit out his hands inside his pocket and pulled it out. Everybody present there and Pakistan captain Babar Azam found it amusing. “We need to assess how conditions play and come up with an idea of what a good score is. Those games have helped us assess conditions here. We’ve spoken about what we need to do as a batting unit to get a good score and then we’ve got the bowling unit to defend. Every game is important in a World Cup, you can’t just show up. Anything can happen,” Rohit said after losing the toss.
