Safest SUVs in India: 5 SUVs with 5-star safety rating
The passenger vehicle (PV) industry is witnessing a couple of new trends right now. One is the unprecedented rise of the sport utility vehicle (SUV) segment and the other is the growing awareness among customers about the safety aspect.
While India now has its own vehicle safety testing program, referred to as Bharat New Car Assessment Program or Bharat NCAP several cars sold in our country have been tested by Global New Car Assessment Program or Global NCAP.
With the SUV segment reaching almost 50% of the PV market, we take a look at five SUVs on sale in India with the highest safety rating at Global NCAP.
