Salman Khan’s fresh appreciation post for Kiran Rao’s ‘Laapataa Ladies’: ‘Super job’
Salman Khan is one of the latest celebs to review Kiran Rao’s directorial, ‘Laapataa Ladies’. The actor, after dropping an appreciation post for Kiran on March 13, deleted it after mistakenly calling it her ‘debut’ as a director.
The superstar has shared a new post, this time without mentioning anything about her debut.
In the new note, Salman wrote, “Just saw Kiran Rao’s Laapataa Ladies. Wah wah Kiran. I really enjoyed it n so did my father. superb job. Kab kaam karogi mere saath? (sic) (When will you work with me?).”

Kiran replied to Salman’s appreciation post by sharing his comment on her Instagram story. She wrote, “Aap bas dates bolo Bhai, I am ready (sic) (Just give me your dates, I am ready).” Her next comment read, “Thank you so much, means a lot to the whole team (sic).” This was followed by more ‘thank you’ and ‘red heart’ gifs.
‘Laapataa Ladies’ chronicles the life of two young brides who get separated during a train journey. Police officer Manohar (played by Ravi Kishan) investigates the missing case. The film was produced by Aamir Khan Productions in association with Kindling Productions. Presented by Jio Studios, the film was scripted by Bipalb Goswami, Sneha Desai and Divyanidhi Sharma. The film, which released in theatres on March 1, won rave reviews from critics and audiences alike.
