Samsung rolls out vividness slider after complaints of bland displays on Galaxy S24 Series devices
Samsung is known to produce among the best displays in the market, which are also used on devices by other OEMs. Users of Samsung’s Galaxy S24 series devices have however complained of bland displays that do not pack a punch.
Samsung has now rolled out an update, that allows users to boost the vividness of the displays on Galaxy S24 series of devices.
Samsung has indicated that the devices had been initially tuned for more natural experiences, but following the feedback, it is providing a more customisable experience, allowing users to modify the display according to their preferences. The new Vividness slider is available under the ‘Advanced Settings’ for the display.
Samsung has also tweaked its camera experience on the Galaxy S24 devices. About 15 years ago, consumer and bridge cameras had a range of specific shooting modes that allowed users to access handy presets according to the subjects that they were shooting, such as longer exposures for low-light shots without flash, or shorter exposures with wide apertures for capturing fast moving subjects such as kids or pets.
Now, users do not have to select these modes which are integrated into the AI that automatically adjusts the settings according to the subjects. The Portrait Mode, Nightography, zoom functions and video shooting capabilities of the primary shooters have been improved across the Galaxy S24 series of devices.
