Saripodhaa Sanivaaram Box Office Collection Day 2 Prediction: Nani-Starrer Likely to Slow Down, Check Expected Collection Here

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram has finally hit the big screens, making its theatrical debut on August 29, 2024. According to the industry tracker Sacnilk, the movie minted Rs. 9 crores on its opening day. Helmed by Vivek Athreya, the film has been released in five languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. However, on day 2, the film witnessed a massive dip in collections. As per early predictions shared by Sacnilk.com, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram earned only Rs. 2.27 crores on its second day.
Saripodhaa Sanivaaram Detailed Box Office Collection Report
Since Saripodhaa Sanivaaram was released in five languages, the movie’s earnings varied across regions. In Telugu, the Nani-starrer earned Rs. 8.75 crores, whereas in Tamil, the movie minted Rs. 24 lakhs. However, the movie failed to perform well in Malayalam, earning only Rs. 1 lakh. In the Hindi market, the film was unable to draw any audience, with the numbers standing at zero.
Regionally, the film grossed Rs. 1.1 crores in Karnataka, Rs. 8.5 crores in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Rs. 55 lakhs in Tamil Nadu, Rs. 5 lakhs in Kerala, and Rs. 20 lakhs in other states across India, bringing its total domestic earnings to Rs. 10.4 crores. Globally, the film has collected a gross of Rs. 19.40 crores. Saripodhaa Sanivaaram recorded an overall Telugu occupancy of 53.54% on Thursday.
About Saripodhaa Sanivaaram
The movie features Nani and Priyanka Mohan in the lead roles. The film has been produced by DVV Entertainment, which is well-known for producing films including RRR. Apart from Nani, the movie also features SJ Suryah, Abhirami, Aditi Balan, P. Sai Kumar, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Murali Sharma, and Ajay Ghosh.
Recently, Nani spoke about the film. During a conversation with news agency ANI, he said, “It was actually not very challenging because I feel the challenging roles for me are the ones which I, on a personal level, can’t relate to, and I need to work on every small detail of it.”
“Somehow, Surya felt like me, so it was actually a lot easier to pull off. It was challenging for director Vivek to build a story like this and execute it with that kind of emotional depth. But I think I had fun working on it,” he added.
