Expressing his optimism for Rinku’s World Cup prospects, Shah Rukh during an interview on Star Sports said, “Such amazing players are playing for the country. I am really looking forward to Rinku, Inshallah in the World Cup team and some other young players from other teams. “Some of them are very deserving of it, but my personal wish is that Rinku comes into the team. With most of the scoring done by KKR’s top-order so far this season, Rinku hasn’t had many opportunities with the bat. In his debut season, however, the hard-hitting batsman from Aligarh scored 356 runs in 15 matches, seven of which were unbeaten. His runs came at a strike rate of over 175 but power hitting is not his only talent, as he has the ability to remain calm in pressure situations. The Bollywood megastar, who shares a great bond with Rinku, is happy with her rise after facing many hurdles on the way to success. Raised in a modest environment, Rinku’s family struggled to make ends meet, with his father working as an LPG cylinder delivery man and his mother a homemaker. Despite being offered a job as a sweeper, Rinku followed his passion for cricket, believing that it would take him to greater heights.

SRK said, “I want them to be happy and when I see these boys playing, I feel like I am living as a sportsman myself. I see myself especially in players like Rinku and Nitish (Rana). I am really happy when they perform well.”
