Should you wait for the iPhone 16? Here is what we already know about the 2024 Apple flagship phone

The iPhone 16 series launch event is still quite far away, but people who are wondering whether they should wait for the iPhone 16 or not can check out some of the leaked specs to get a rough idea of what could be the possible features.

Do keep in mind that a few features that leak sometimes don’t make it to the final version.

The iPhone 15 is a good smartphone and if you can get it at a very low price during big sale events in the country, then you shouldn’t miss it. Those who are waiting for the iPhone 16 smartphone, here is a look at the leaked specs so far.

iPhone 16 leaks so far: Specifications

If leaks are to be believed, the iPhone 16 could be powered by the A17 chip. However, speculations hint that it might not be the identical A17 Pro chip found in the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The standard model could retain the 6.1-inch screen, but might finally receive support for 120Hz refresh rate, which would be a significant upgrade from the current 60Hz.

It is being said that the device could pack a bigger 3,561mAh battery under the hood. The iPhone 16 model is tipped to get support for faster 40W wired charging and 20W MagSafe charging. It remains to be seen whether this will happen this year or not because support for fast charge was also reported in 2023 for the iPhone 15 series. But this didn’t happen. But, let’s hope that Apple improves charging speed this year for its 2024 iPhones.

At the moment, there are no details on the camera front. As there is still a lot of time for the 2024 iPhones to debut, details about the camera could leak in the coming months. Lastly, you will see the punch-hole design on the device, just like the iPhone 15 series. You will, of course, see a USB Type-C port as well on all the versions of iPhone 16 this year.
