Siddhant Chaturvedi Rejected Role In ‘Brahmastra’ For This Reason

Siddhant Chaturvedi made a striking Bollywood debut in the movie ‘Gully Boy,’ earning widespread acclaim for his performance.

However, in a recent interview, he revealed facing significant backlash from casting professionals after declining a role in ‘Brahmastra’.

Siddhant Chaturvedi revealed in an interview with The Lallantop that his initial uncertainty about his role in Brahmastra, citing a lack of script or clear details led him to reject the role. He recalled feeling sidelined in the casting process, fearing he’d be labeled as arrogant for declining without adequate information.

However, with time, the film’s prolonged production allowed him to establish himself with the success of Gully Boy. Reflecting on the experience, he believes his character was eventually edited out, a turn of events he sees as fortuitous, ultimately leading to positive outcomes for his career.

I can’t help but ponder the potential dynamic Siddhant Chaturvedi could have brought to Brahmastra, had circumstances aligned differently.
