Sidharth Malhotra on his film journey: ‘Difficult to summarise an actor’s career’
Sidharth Malhotra, at a song launch event for his upcoming film ‘Yodha’, reflected on his film journey. The actor said that though it is ‘difficult to summarise’ an actor’s career, he is excited and content with how his film journey is looking.
Sidharth Malhotra, who will be next seen in ‘Yodha’, has tasted both highs and lows as an actor. At a press conference held ahead of ‘Yodha’ release in Delhi, he spoke about his career so far. The actor said, “It’s very difficult to summarise anyone’s career, especially as an actor.
Main bohot khush hoon ki (I am very happy that) ‘Student of the Year’ was a Dharma production and today, after so many years, ‘Yodha’ is back with Dharma. It’s my home ground in that sense, jinki wajah se main yaha pe kaam kar raha hoon (It’s because of them that I am working here), so that makes it a very special circle for me to come back to promote a film or be active in a film. ”
He further added, “Dharma is quintessentially known for romantic films, and I am bringing in a little bit of action and thrill to it, whether it’s with ‘Shershaah’ or ‘Yodha’. Hopefully, we will make many more films. Every actor or a creative person takes a while to be in their zone. I, personally, have enjoyed characters which have situations or thrills or some action, just like a script like ‘Yodha’.”

He concluded with, “Ye character ek aise situation mein phasa hain, mere saath asal zindagi mein toh yeh kabhi nahi hoga aur maine picture o mein bhi nahin dekha hain itna ke hijack ke beech mein (This character is stuck in such a situation, it would never happen to me in real life) he has to solve so many things that happen within that and save people at the same time. I would summarise my journey to be very exciting, starting from March 15.”
‘Yodha’, Sidharth Malhotra’s upcoming film, also stars Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna.
