SSC CGL Exam 2024: The SSC CGL Tier I exam will start tomorrow, keep these rules in mind otherwise you will be troubled

SSC CGL Exam 2024 Guidelines: Staff Selection Commission’s CGL Tier One exam will be conducted from tomorrow. Know some rules before giving the paper, otherwise, there may be a problem at the center.

SSC Releases CGL Tier 1 Exam 2024 Guidelines: Staff Selection Commission’s Combined Graduate Level Examination 2024 will be conducted from tomorrow i.e. 9th September. Starting from tomorrow, the exam will run till 26th September 2024. Every year lakhs of candidates take part in this exam and the same has happened this year as well. Tier One exam is to be conducted from tomorrow, the candidates who have applied should know about some rules before going to give the exam or else there will be trouble later.

Reporting time

It is clearly stated in the notice that candidates have to reach the exam center at least half an hour before the exam. Latecomers will not be allowed entry. Timing and its reporting time can be seen here. This exam will be conducted in four shifts in a day. Check here what time to reach for which shift.

The first shift will be from 9 to 10 in the morning, for this you have to report by 7.45.

The second shift will be from 11.45 to 12.45 in the afternoon, for this you have to report at 10.30.

The third shift will be from 2.30 to 3.30 in the afternoon, for this you have to report at 1.15.

The fourth shift will be between 5.15 to 6.15 in the evening. For this, you have to report by 4 in the evening.

Keep these rules in mind

Reach the exam hall at least half an hour before the exam and do not leave the room until the exam is over, even if your paper is over.’

Do take your admit card with you, without it, you will not get entry. Read the instructions given on it carefully and follow all of them.

The scanned admit card that you will take with you does not have a photo pasted on it. This part is for the invigilator present there.

You can also sit in the exam with the help of the admit card downloaded from the website. Do take a copy of the photo with you, although it may not be needed.

Along with the admit card, bring a valid photo ID with you. Without this, you will not get entry.

During the exam, a paper will be given on the side for a rough sheet, do rough work only on this.

Only one answer sheet will be available with one paper, you have to mark your answers on this.

Do not take these things with you

The list of things that should not be taken with you in the examination hall is as follows. Any type of book or copy, slide ruler, pager, mobile phone, written notes, calculator, any electronic device, smartwatch, health band, headphone, Bluetooth, etc.

What can you carry

Candidates can only carry a black pen with them to the exam hall. This can be a ballpoint pen or an ink pen. Apart from this, do not carry anything else with you to the hall. Keep checking the official website from time to time to know the updates about this.
