SSC CGL Tier 1 exam starts today, know which items are banned in the exam hall
SSC CGL Tier 1 exam: The staff Selection Commission is all set to conduct the SSC CGL Tier I exam 2024 from today i.e. 9th September. According to the information, the commission will examine four shifts each day. The candidates need to download their admit cards from the regional SSC websites, as without it they will not be allowed to enter the examination center. Important Guidelines
Reach the exam center mentioned on your admit card at least 60 minutes in advance to avoid any last-minute delay.
Do not forget to carry your SSC CGL Admit Card 2024 to the exam center, without it, you will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
Carry at least two recent passport size photographs along with the admit card and an original, valid identity proof such as Aadhaar card, voter ID, driving license, PAN card or passport. These documents are mandatory for entry into the exam centre.
If your photo ID does not show your date of birth, you will have to bring additional documents such as your Class 10th certificate, mark sheets, birth certificate, etc.
What is prohibited?
Inside the exam hall, candidates are not allowed to carry mobile phones, pagers, smartwatches or other electronic gadgets. These items are prohibited, and possession of any of these may lead to disqualification.
The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam consists of four sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension. Each section consists of 25 questions, with each question carrying two marks, making a total of 100 questions and 200 marks. Candidates have one hour to complete the test, and successful candidates will proceed to the Tier 2 exam.
