SSC GD Constable 2025 notification will be released tomorrow.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the notification for GD Constable 2025 recruitment tomorrow, on 5 September. The application process can also start with the release of the notification. The advertisement will be released on the official website of SSC, ssc.gov.in. The examination for this recruitment will be conducted in CBT mode. Earlier the notification was to be released on 27 August, but the commission had postponed it.
Through the GD Constable Recruitment Process, recruitment will be done for the posts of Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Constable in Narcotics Control Bureau. The CBT exam can be conducted in January-February 2025.
SSC GD 2025 Notification: Who can apply?
Last year, the maximum educational qualification required for this recruitment was 10th pass from any recognized board. The age of the applicant was fixed between 18 years to 23 years. Candidates of OBC, SC and ST category have also been given relaxation in the maximum age limit. This time also the educational qualification and age limit may be like last year.

SSC GD 2025: What is the exam pattern?
Looking at the previous pattern, the SSC GD Constable exam can be conducted in CBT mode. 80 questions of 160 marks can be asked in the exam. Questions can be asked from General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics and English/Hindi subjects in the exam. Candidates successful in the exam will be called for PET, PST and Document Verification.
