SSC JE 2024 Paper 2 Exam Dates: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the date of the Junior Engineer (JE) Paper 2 Exam 2024. The commission issued a notice stating that the SSC JE Paper 2 exam for Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical) posts will be conducted on 6 November 2024. Candidates who have passed the SSC JE Paper 1 exam will be able to appear in this exam. Candidates can read this notice from the official website of the commission. Candidates who have passed the SSC JE Paper 1 exam and are eligible for the Paper 2 exam can apply for the SSC JE 2024 Paper 2 exam through the official website of the commission, ssc.gov.in.

Commission increased the recruitment of Junior Engineer
Earlier SSC had released recruitment for 968 posts of Junior Engineer, which has been increased to 1, 765. These recruitments will be done for the posts of Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineer. This recruitment will be done in various departments of the Government of India.

SSC JE 2024 Paper 2 Exam Pattern
Talking about the SSC JE 2024 Paper 2 Exam Exam Pattern, this exam will have multiple choice questions. The total number of questions will be 100. All the questions will be from the Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical streams of engineering. Candidates will get 3 marks for each correct answer, while one-third marks will be deducted for answering any one question incorrectly. The duration of the SSC JE Paper 2 exam will be 120 minutes. Candidates who qualify for the Paper 2 exam will be called for document verification.

SSC JE 2024 Selection Process
Under the SSC JE selection process, candidates will have to go through the Paper 1, and Paper 2 exams along with the document verification round. SSC JE Paper 1 exam was held on 5, 6, and 7 June 2024, the results of which were declared on 20 August. A total of 16,223 candidates have qualified for the SSC JE Paper 1 exam. Of these, 11,765 are eligible for civil engineering, and 4,458 for electrical and mechanical engineering posts.
