Tata Motors, Sona BLW Precision, JBM Auto, Olectra Greentech: EV Stocks After Launch Of NSE Nifty EV Index
NSE Indices Ltd, a subsidiary of the National Stock Exchange, on Thursday launched the EV and new-age automotive index to track the performance of companies which form a part of the EV ecosystem. This would be the country’s first ever electric vehicle (EV) index.
“The launch of the Nifty EV and new-age automotive index will facilitate creation of products which will create opportunity for asset managers to invest in the electric vehicle and new-age automotive market thereby providing an investment vehicle to investors,” NSE Indices said in a statement.
The base date for the new thematic index is April 2, 2018, and the base value is 1,000. The index will be reconstituted semi-annually and rebalanced on a quarterly basis.

Tata Motors Share Price
Tata Motors closed trading at Rs 924.15 a day ago rose by 1.43 per cent to the Friday’s high of Rs 937.40.
Tata Motors shares were trading higher by 0.70 per cent, or Rs 6.45, at Rs 930.60 each at 10:02 am on Friday.
Sona BLW Precision Share Price
After closing at Rs 637.95 in the previous day’s session, Sona BLW Precision shares slipped to Friday’s low of Rs 618.30 each after starting the session at Rs 642.50 apiece.
The stock was trading lower by 2.97 per cent, or Rs 18.95, at Rs 619.00 on Friday.
JBM Auto Share Price
After closing at Rs 2,038.15 in the previous session, JBM Auto slipped by 2.40 per cent to Friday’s low of Rs 1,992.50 after starting the trading session at Rs 2,049.95.
JBM Auto shares were trading lower by 1.59 per cent, or Rs 32.35, at Rs 2,005.80 each on Friday.
Olectra Greentech Share Price
After closing at Rs 1,758.30 a day ago, Olectra Greentech rose by 1.63 per cent to Friday’s high of Rs 1,786.95 after starting the session at Rs 1,755.55.
Olectra Greentech shares, however, slipped and were trading lower by 1.37 per cent, or Rs 24.05, at Rs 1,734.25 apiece on Friday.
